WINDHOEK, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Namibia is positioned to become the first African country to export beef to China, following the signing of a protocol between the two countries, said Namibia's Deputy Prime Minister, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Thursday.
She said the signing of the protocol was a direct result of the state visit by Namibian President Hage Geingob to China in late March.
The beef export to China will also diversify the southern African nation's destinations for export.
