RABAT, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions Wydad Casablanca of Morocco beat newcomers Togo Port of Togo 3-0 on Tuesday in Group C of the CAF Champions League.
At Complex Mohammed V in Morocco's largest city of Casablanca, Wydad got the first win following their 1-1 draw with South African Mamelodi Sundowns in the group opener.
The Moroccan team had an impressive start, scoring their first two goals at the 2nd and 6th minutes through its talented striker Mohamed Ounajem and defender Naim Aarab, respectively.
Wydad dominated the game. Left-back Mohamed Nahiri finished brilliantly a well-organized attack in the 56th minute.
The Moroccan team moved temporarily to the first spot of Group C with four points, one point more than second-placed Horoya of Guinea, who will play against Mamelodi Sundowns next week.
