RABAT, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Congolese TP Mazembe continued their brilliant form in this year's CAF Champions League, taming DH El Jadida from Morocco 2-0 on road on Tuesday.
After hammering Entente Setif of Algeria 4-1 in Lubumbashi in their opening game in Group B, TP Mazembe upset DH El Jadida, who earned a draw against Mouloudia Alger 1-1 in Algeria.
In a quite balanced first half, the Moroccan team had better ball possession and created more goal attempts but they were unable to score.
In the second half, DH El Jadida had a good start and should have grabbed an early lead following a good move in the 50th minute, but Tanzanian Simon Msuva failed to reach the goal.
The Congolese team frustrated its Moroccan rivals only two minutes later through Ben Malango, before Abdoulaye Sissoko sealed the win in the 55th minute.
After this win, TP Mazembe lifted to six points at the top of Group B before Mouloudia Alger, who defeated their neighbors Setif 1-0, with four points. DH El Jadida remain in the third place with one point and Setif nil.
